Matt Nelson
Master Plumber / Service Manager
Matt started our company in 1984. He oversees the day to day operation of the company; however, he much prefers the hands-on work and customer contact he gets in the field. He has a knack for solving issues with older homes and loves to problem solve. He enjoys finding reasonably priced solutions for all his customers.
Julia
Office Manager
Julia joined our team in 2025 to manage our daily administrative operations, keeping everything running smoothly across A/P, HR, and partner communications. She holds a background in economics and real estate, but her roots are in small business. Having grown up in a family of entrepreneurs, Julia loves working in an environment that feels close to home.
Janaya
Dispatcher
Janaya was born and raised in Boston, Mattapan specifically. She’s been serving as the first point of contact for NWPH for over two and a half years now. She oversees scheduling for our plumbing team of six technicians; prioritizing urgent requests and maintaining excellent customer relations. She is best known for her sparking voice, great attitude and clear communication as well as her professional, approachable demeanor.
Meet Our Technicians
Naeem
Heating Department Head
Naeem joined us in 2023 after running his own company to gain the support of working with a larger organization. Having switched from web design into the plumbing industry at the turn of the century, he offers the most artistic talent to our service team. He also brings with him excellent mechanical ability and sound heating knowledge. Naeem designs some of our most complicated commercial projects such as commercial kitchens and multi- boiler heating plants for large apartment buildings or commercial facilities. His favorite assignment is commercial kitchen installation though he enjoys the customer contact produced from smaller service requests such as faucet repairs.
Elkan
Plumbing Department Head
Elkan grew up surrounded by the plumbing and heating trade. Working as a helper through middle and high school he left Massachusetts to attend college in Harrisburg, PA, where he earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After graduation he remained in PA where he acquired a Masters Plumbing License. Elkan relocated to Boston, MA, where he has been working for Narrow Way Plumbing and Heating ever since. With 10 years of experience as a technician and a life time in the plumbing world, Elkan enjoys the hands on work and problem solving aspect of the job, skilled at understanding the root causes of issues and resolving them.
Tyrone
Technician
Tyrone started working for NWPH while he was in high school back in the mid 1980s. He knows Boston neighborhoods like the back of his hand, having lived and work in Boston for most of his adult life. He moved to South Easton in 2010 when he bought his present residence. Tyrone is a very careful worker and particular enjoys doing plumbing roughs when remodeling an entire building. With his extensive experience he is a go to person in our organization.
Steve
Technician
Steve is a hard working technician who is passionate about providing our customers with reliable plumbing solutions. Steve also grew up around the plumbing trade having worked in his father’s plumbing business at 14 years old. With years of plumbing experience, Steve specializes in repairs, installations and drain work. He thoroughly enjoys engaging with customers and maintains a positive and professional attitude while doing so. Steve has been a part of the NWPH team for over ten years. His communication skills are excellent, exceedingly generous and often a customer favorite.
Huguens
Technician
Huguens has been with NWPH since 2023 and is the newest addiction to the company as a technician. As an experienced professional auto mechanic for many years, Huguens brought a twist into the plumbing mechanical industry. He specializes in troubleshooting, servicing and repairing heating units which comes easy to him because of his past experience. He’s an enthusiastic and teachable individual who doesn’t back down when facing difficult tasks. He prides himself on not taking short cuts and always doing the right thing. Huguens’ main goal is to keep the NWPH’s excellent reputation alive for generations to come.
